These Subscription Terms supplement, and form part of, our Terms of Service and describe Practice Timer Pro subscriptions. They are provided by Koraii, an individual entrepreneur (entreprise individuelle, EI) established in France, SIREN 849 827 894, 149 avenue du Maine, 75014 Paris, France ("Practice Timer", "we", "us").

By starting a free trial or a purchase, you agree to these Subscription Terms. Capitalised terms not defined here have the meaning given in the Terms of Service. If these Subscription Terms conflict with the Terms of Service on a subscription matter, these Subscription Terms prevail. Nothing here affects your mandatory statutory consumer rights (see section 11).

The short version

  • Practice Timer requires a Pro subscription to use. Pro is auto-renewable: yearly (with a 3-day free trial, full access, for new subscribers) or monthly (no trial).
  • It renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends. Cancel anytime in your App Store or Google Play settings.
  • Purchases are billed by Apple/Google, who handle refunds under their policies.
  • If you're an EU/EEA consumer, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal and other statutory rights that these terms don't take away.
  • Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription — cancel through the store.

This summary is for convenience only and is not part of the terms. The full text below governs.

1. What Pro includes

Practice Timer is a subscription app. An active Pro subscription is required to use it; new users can try it free for 3 days on the yearly plan (see section 3). Pro gives you full access to everything in the app, including:

  • unlimited practice sessions;
  • unlimited practice plans and exercise editing;
  • full session history;
  • the complete progress dashboard and milestones.

We may improve or change what Pro includes over time, as described in the Terms of Service and in section 8 below.

2. Plans and pricing

Pro is offered as an auto-renewable subscription in two options:

PlanPriceFree trial
Yearly$39.99 / year3-day free trial for new subscribers
Monthly$4.99 / month

Prices may vary by country and over time, and the price shown to you in the app at the time of purchase governs. Prices shown to consumers include applicable taxes (such as VAT) where required by law. Because purchases are made through the app store in your local currency, the amount you are charged will be the local-currency price displayed at checkout.

3. Free trial

The yearly plan includes a 3-day free trial for eligible new subscribers, with full access to all Pro features. No payment is due during the trial. The monthly plan does not include a free trial, and there is no free tier — outside the trial, a paid subscription is required to use the app.

  • If you have allowed notifications, we will remind you before the trial ends; the store may also notify you.
  • Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, your subscription automatically converts to a paid yearly subscription and your payment method is charged the then-current yearly price.
  • If you cancel during the trial, you keep Pro access until the trial period ends and you will not be charged.
  • Trial availability and eligibility are determined by the app store; typically only one trial is available per Apple ID / Google account.

4. Billing, renewal & auto-renew

  • Payment is charged to your Apple ID (or Google Play account) at confirmation of purchase or at the end of any free trial.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically — yearly plans renew yearly, monthly plans renew monthly — at the then-current price, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • Merchant of record. Your purchase is made through, and billed by, the app store (Apple or Google), which acts as the seller/merchant of record for the transaction. We license the app to you and provide the Pro features; the store processes the payment.
  • Failed payments. If a renewal payment fails, the store may retry billing during a grace or retry period. Your Pro access may continue during that period; if payment is not completed, Pro access ends.

5. Managing & cancelling

You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time, online, through your store account: App Store → account settings → Subscriptions → Practice Timer, or Google Play → Subscriptions. Cancelling stops future renewals.

  • After you cancel, Pro remains active until the end of the period you have already paid for; that period is not prorated (subject to your withdrawal and statutory rights in sections 6 and 11).
  • Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription — you must cancel through the store.
  • "Restore purchases" in the app re-applies an active subscription to your account when you are signed in to the same store account used to purchase.

Because the subscription is sold and billed by the store, cancellation is handled through your store account, which gives you an always-available online way to end the subscription, consistent with your right to terminate online under applicable consumer law.

6. Right of withdrawal (EU/EEA consumers)

If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA, you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract, without giving a reason, starting when the paid subscription is concluded (Article L.221-18 of the French Consumer Code and equivalent national laws transposing EU Directive 2011/83).

Immediate access. Practice Timer Pro is a digital service that we make available to you immediately. By purchasing and starting to use Pro, you expressly ask us to begin providing it during the withdrawal period and acknowledge the effect this has on your withdrawal right:

  • You may still withdraw within the 14-day period. If you do, you may be required to pay for the part of the service actually provided up to the moment you withdraw (a proportionate amount), as permitted by law.
  • Where the service has been fully performed during the withdrawal period at your request, the right of withdrawal is exhausted, to the extent provided by law.

How to withdraw. You can withdraw by clearly telling us at contact@practicetimer.app (you may, but need not, use the standard model withdrawal form). Because the store is the merchant of record, the practical way to obtain a refund of the amount charged is usually to request it through the store (see section 7); we will help where we can. This withdrawal right is in addition to your other statutory rights and to the store's own refund policies.

7. Refunds

Purchases are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play, and refunds are handled by them under their policies — we generally cannot issue refunds directly. You can request a refund through reportaproblem.apple.com (Apple) or through Google Play. Your statutory consumer rights, including the right of withdrawal in section 6 and the legal guarantees in section 11, are not affected by the store's refund policies, and you can always contact us at contact@practicetimer.app.

8. Renewal reminders & changes to pricing/plans

Renewal reminders. For auto-renewing subscriptions, the store sends renewal-related notifications, and, where you have allowed them, we send our own reminders (for example before a yearly renewal). If you are a consumer in France, you have rights regarding tacitly renewed contracts under Articles L.215-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, including, where the law applies, the ability to terminate the subscription free of charge after renewal if you were not properly informed of the renewal in advance.

Changes to pricing or plans. We may change subscription pricing or the contents of a plan. Price changes apply only to future billing periods. Where required by law or by the store's rules, we (or the store) will notify you in advance and, for relevant increases, obtain your consent before the next renewal at the new price; if you do not consent, your subscription will not renew at the new price. You can always cancel before a change takes effect.

9. Account and entitlement

Pro is tied to your account and your store purchase. Subscription status is verified through RevenueCat and the app store; see the Privacy Policy for what subscription data we store and who we share it with. Sharing, reselling, or circumventing entitlements is not permitted, as set out in the Terms of Service.

10. Required store disclosures

Apple App Store. Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at the confirmation of purchase. The subscription automatically renews unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel your subscriptions by going to your App Store account settings after purchase. Any unused portion of a free trial, where offered, is forfeited when you purchase a subscription, where applicable.

Google Play. If you subscribe through Google Play, payment is charged to your Google account, the subscription renews automatically until cancelled, and you can manage or cancel it in Google Play → Subscriptions.

11. Your statutory consumer rights

Nothing in these Subscription Terms limits the mandatory rights you have as a consumer. In particular, under French law you benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity (garantie légale de conformité, Articles L.217-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, which applies to digital content and digital services) and the guarantee against hidden defects (Articles 1641 et seq. of the French Civil Code); consumers elsewhere in the EU/EEA have equivalent rights under their national law. See section 11 of the Terms of Service for details.
