How do I use Practice Timer?
Four steps:
- Build your plan. Line up your exercises — scales, repertoire, that tricky passage — each with its own time and rest.
- Focus every minute. Start the session; one dial counts down each block automatically. Just play.
- Rest to improve faster. Timed rests run automatically between exercises — your brain locks in new skills during the pause.
- Track your progress. Streaks, your focus mix, and milestones show you improving over time.
How do I start the free trial?
When you select the yearly plan you get 3 days free. No payment is due now, and you can cancel anytime before it ends.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Open the App Store → your account → Subscriptions → Practice Timer → Cancel. Access continues until the end of the current billing period. We don't process payments ourselves — billing is handled by the App Store.
How do I restore a purchase?
On the paywall screen, tap Restore purchases while signed in to the same Apple ID you bought with.
Is my practice data private?
Your plans and detailed session history stay on your device. We sync only aggregate stats (like total practice time and streaks) when you sign in, and we use privacy-respecting analytics to improve the app. Full details in our Privacy Policy.
How do I delete my account and data?
In the app, go to Settings → Delete account. This permanently deletes your account and all synced data (streaks, stats, profile, and subscription record) and can't be undone.
Which devices are supported?
iPhone and Android phone that have access to the respective app stores.
Deleting your account & data
You can permanently delete your Practice Timer account and all synced data at any time — it's self-serve and takes effect immediately:
- Open Practice Timer on your device.
- Go to Settings → Delete account.
- Confirm. This deletes your synced profile, aggregate stats, device records, subscription record, your sign-in account, and your analytics person record.
This action cannot be undone. You can also clear on-device data via Settings → Reset all data, or uninstall the app to remove local content from that device.
